What should early pregnancy discharge look like?

Vaginal discharge (also known as leukorrhea) is always normal, however, it usually changes its colour and consistency during pregnancy. The change is often noticeable during the first or second week of your pregnancy, even before you could realize you've missed your period. Early pregnancy discharge is usually a bit more noticeable than your general thin, clear or milky white texture leukorrhea. As your pregnancy progresses, it becomes more and more visible. If it bothers you, just use a panty liner. (Keep in mind that tampons should be avoided during pregnancy.)
