Why Do My Wattpad Drafts Show Views Even When Private?

Discover why your private Wattpad drafts have views and how to manage view counts on unpublished stories.

Wattpad drafts having views can be puzzling, but it typically happens due to a few reasons. First, ensure that your draft is indeed set to 'Private' and not accidentally published. Wattpad's system sometimes counts your own previews or edits in the draft section as 'views'. These views do not signify public access but are merely reflective of your activity or system glitches. If your drafts are properly secured and you still notice an unusual number of views, reaching out to Wattpad's support can help clarify the discrepancy.
