Learn why posts from public groups appear on your Facebook feed and how to customize your News Feed preferences to control what you see.

You're seeing posts from public groups on Facebook because Facebook's algorithm boosts content you engage with or content from groups similar to ones you're a member of. Posts from public groups that your friends interact with may also appear in your feed, as Facebook prioritizes content it thinks you'll find interesting. If you prefer not to see these, you can adjust your News Feed Preferences to prioritize who you see first or unfollow groups to reduce their visibility in your feed.
