EA (Electronic Arts) has not announced a cancellation of the FIFA video game series. Instead, they are undergoing a significant change. In 2022, EA announced that after a partnership lasting nearly 30 years with FIFA, the 2023 edition would be the final game released under the 'FIFA' name. Starting in 2023, EA's soccer games will be rebranded as 'EA Sports FC'. This transition marks the end of an era but not the discontinuation of the game series itself.
