Discover how rare the Broken Hero Sword is in Terraria, its drop chances from Mothron, and tips to farm it during Solar Eclipses effectively.

The Broken Hero Sword is considered a rare drop, having a 1/4 (25%) chance to drop from Mothron during a Solar Eclipse after defeating at least one Mechanical Boss. Solar Eclipses themselves have a small chance to occur naturally each day post-Mechanical Bosses or can be triggered using a Solar Tablet. Gathering multiple swords for crafting the True Night’s Edge and True Excalibur is thus a game of patience and strategy, capitalizing on every Solar Eclipse event possible.
