'Dance Monsters' is a unique television show that combines live-action dancing with animated monsters, thanks to modern CGI technology. Thus, while the monsters appear vivid and lifelike on screen, they are actually computer-generated creations. The performers are real dancers whose movements are captured and then transformed into the fantastical monsters you see, making them 'fake' in the sense that they do not physically exist but are very much a product of impressive technological innovation.
