Musically was transformed into TikTok. Tiktok absorbed the original app and user-base, so it was a rebrand rather than musically shut down. Both companies are merging again. The US army had banned Tiktok on government phones due to the threat of cybersecurity in 2018. After that, it was banned in India a couple of months ago. Due to a lack of safety controls, abusers, Predators, and sex, traffickers can quickly contact minors. It is the main cause of labelling it as a breeding ground for abusers. Such video streaming apps pose a significant threat to its growing user base.
